Is it OK to take a sauna and sunbathe? Yes, that’s totally fine. The baby in your tummy isn’t affected at all as long as you stay within the normal levels of your body temperature. However, you might get skin discolouration (Melasma, Chloasma) as your skin is not like it usually is.

However, there are some things you should avoid, such as a jacuzzi at the spa & public pool area, where there’s a great risk of infection (but should you be fortunate enough to have a jacuzzi at home where you can be sure the hygiene is good, you can most definitely enjoy the jacuzzi).

Most airlines won’t accept you as a passenger if you have reached 32 weeks. These regulations are not because it is inappropriate to fly, but because there may be a risk that the plane will need to land if the labour starts.

What about a massage or horseback riding? Sure, no problem. It’s important, though, that you tell the massage therapist that you are pregnant so they tailor your treatment. If you go horseback riding, you are free to enjoy the moment unless you experience contractions or the like. Then it’s better for you to go on a walk.
