When Do Teeth Start to Appear?

Most babies get their first tooth around six months, but just like everything else in a baby’s life, there’s no “right” time. Some children may sprout their teeth as early as four months, while others might wait until closer to ten months—so no need to panic if it takes a while!

  • Excessive dribbling – You’ll wonder if it will ever stop.

It can get a bit tough when the teeth are coming through, but here are some tips to make it easier—for both you and baby:

  • Cool it down – A cold teething ring or a damp washcloth can work wonders.
  • Chew-friendly toys – Perfect for your baby's teething needs.
  • Gum massage – With clean fingers, you can give a gentle massage, something babies love!

When Is It Time to Start Brushing Teeth?

When that first tooth appears, it’s time to bring out the toothbrush! Start gently with a soft baby toothbrush and brush those tiny teeth once a day. The earlier you start, the easier it will be to establish good dental hygiene routines.
