I am in constant motion. Kicking and tumbling about so much that with a bit of luck mother might get a feeling of butterflies fluttering in her belly.
My nervous system continues to develop apace and the unique functions designed to control my sense of touch, taste, smell, sight and hearing are now specialised. My eyes have made their way to their rightful positions and now react to light.
This week, the air sacs (called alveoli) are developed. They will be filled with liquid and play an important role up until my birth when all fluid will be passed out once I take my first breath.
