In addition to my livelier movements in the belly, my mother may even begin to feel more rhythmic movements. I've got hiccups!
Most babies may start hiccuping in the uterus, as a result of a less than developed diaphragm. Hiccups are harmless and nothing to worry about.
My capillaries, that is, the thin blood vessels that are just below the skin, are now starting to form and create a pink skin tone. Even the blood vessels in the lungs are formed. My nostrils, which have so far been clogged, are now open and I have begun to test out breathing. There is of course no oxygen in here, but I practice breathing with the help of the amniotic fluid.
