Baby development
Now life begins – literally!
One sperm has been selected and fertilisation is a fact. The egg now travels down to the uterus to eventually attach to the built-up mucosa. A unique cell division is taking place right now to eventually form a child. Me! Your little baby!
Mothers development
Ovulation is cancelled a couple of months ahead (Wihoo - no more menstruation for a while!) And your pregnancy journey begins now!
It may be that you still get small bleeding now, it is a so-called implantation bleeding or nidation bleeding. Completely normal and completely harmless! This is a sign that the egg has taken hold in the uterus.
