Mothers development
The final weeks of pregnancy can be quite difficult.
Your body has undergone a major transformation and your desire to see your baby is overwhelming. The body retains extra fluid and your hands, feet, and legs are often swollen. Shake your fingers and put your feet up when sitting or lying down. If you have rings, it may be a good idea to remove them; otherwise, that might be difficult to do once they begin to swell.
The child is now firmly slotted into your pelvis, making it easier to breathe. The pelvis may feel more stable, but the pressure on your bladder will probably increase. This is why some women may waddle around like penguins at this time.
